How long does peanut sauce stay fresh?

Yes, you can! Go ahead and make a double batch right now and freeze some for an easy meal later. The peanut sauce will stay fresh for 3 months in the freezer.

Expert Tips for the best peanut sauce

✔️ It's easy to tailor this sauce to your own preferences. Want to make the sauce a little spicier? Simply add more chili garlic sauce and/or ginger.

✔️ Sauce too sweet? Add more lime juice or vinegar. The acid will balance the sweetness.

✔️ Use a peanut butter you love. The peanut butter is the star of the show and the flavor shines through in this sauce so be sure to use something you enjoy eating by the spoon.

✔️ It tastes best at room temperature. This is a great make-ahead sauce but it tastes best at room temperature. Remember to pull it out of the fridge 30 minutes before serving to take the chill off.

✔️ Using it as a marinade? Add a couple of tablespoons of water to thin it out.
