  • 3 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 1½ tablespoon chili garlic sauce
  • 2 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 3 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar

Instructions
 

  • In a medium bowl, add peanut butter, chili garlic sauce, oyster sauce and honey, Whisk until smooth
    3 tablespoon peanut butter, 1½ tablespoon chili garlic sauce, 2 tablespoon oyster sauce, 1 tablespoon honey
  • Add soy sauce, fresh ginger, lime juice and rice vinegar and whisk until combined.
    3 tablespoon soy sauce, 2 tablespoon fresh lime juice, 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, 1 tablespoon rice vinegar

Notes

Ingredient Notes:
Peanut Butter: Use whatever kind you have on hand, creamy, crunchy or natural all work in this recipe.
Lime juice: Fresh is best, bottled juices have preservatives added to them that alter the taste of the juice.
Soy Sauce: You can use regular soy sauce or reduced-sodium soy sauce and still get great results.
Expert Tips
✔️ It's easy to tailor this sauce to your own preferences. Want to make the sauce a little spicier? Simply add more chili garlic sauce and/or ginger.
✔️ Sauce too sweet? Add a touch more lime juice or vinegar. The acid will balance the sweetness.
✔️ Using it as a marinade? Add a couple of tablespoons of water to thin it out.
 
How long does Peanut Sauce keep?
Peanut sauce keeps for about a week in the refrigerator which makes it a great option to make ahead of time. Just remember to remove it from the fridge 30 minutes before using it to let it warm up to room temperature and whisk it again before serving.
Go ahead and make a double batch right now and freeze some for an easy meal later. The peanut sauce will stay fresh for 3 months in the freezer.
