    Why you'll love this recipe

➤ Strawberry flavor in every sip. Juicy, fresh berries AND strawberry flavored vodka combine for a double punch of strawberry flavor in this vodka lemonade.

➤ Make one in minutes. Some recipes require that you make a strawberry simple syrup or puree to flavor their versions of this drink. We eliminated that extra step (and mess) and instead created a recipe with just three ingredients that you can whip up in minutes.

➤ It's balanced and smooth. The right proportions are key to a quality cocktail, and this drink has just the perfect ratio of lemonade to vodka for a supremely sippable cocktail every time (maybe a little too easy).

    Ingredients

You only need three ingredients for this quick and easy vodka cocktail.

Strawberries, lemonade and strawberry vodka on a pink board.

    A few ingredient notes:

・Vodka: Strawberry vodka will give you the most strawberry flavor so I highly recommend keeping a bottle on hand for this recipe. Our favorite is Absolut Juice Strawberry. It isn't terribly expensive or difficult to find. You can use regular vodka in a pinch but your drink won't be as berry flavored.

・Lemonade: Have a favorite homemade lemonade recipe? Feel free to make it or pick up a bottle of your preferred brand from the grocery store (like I do).

・Strawberries: Fresh berries work best in this recipe as you muddle them in the bottom of the glass to release their juices. As with most ingredients, choose the ripest, juiciest berries you can find for maximum flavor.

    Instructions

Have two minutes? You can make a glass of this super refreshing Strawberry Vodka Lemonade that quickly!

3 lowball glasses with muddled strawberries and ice.

Start by adding a few sliced strawberries to the bottom of a low ball glass. Muddle gently then fill glass with ice.

Three lowball glasses with vodka and lemonade poured into them.

Pour in vodka, top with lemonade and stir to combine. Garnish with extra strawberry and lemon slices, if desired.

    FAQs

Can I make this drink ahead of time?

This is a great drink to prepare in advance as it doesn't have any carbonated liquids like club soda or tonic water that could go flat. Store in the fridge for up to two days.

Can I make a pitcher of this vodka lemonade?

Yes, you can! Figure out the number of servings you need and multiply the ingredients accordingly. You can either muddle the strawberries in the bottom of a pitcher before adding the lemonade and vodka or you can simply combine the vodka and lemonade in a pitcher and then muddle strawberries in individual glasses as you serve it.

What's the best ratio of vodka to lemonade?

Everyone has their own preference for how strong they like their drinks. I enjoy a 2:3 ratio and make this drink with 2 ounces of strawberry vodka combined with 3 ounces of lemonade for a flavorful and refreshing cocktail.

Expert tips for making Strawberry Vodka Lemonade

✔︎ No strawberry vodka? Substitute your favorite plain vodka instead and muddle some extra strawberries for added berry flavor.

✔︎ Make it a mocktail. It's easy to make this drink booze-free. Simply skip the vodka and and instead add color and flavor with a strawberry syrup or fresh strawberry puree.

✔︎ Want an even lighter cocktail? Top with a splash of club soda to tame the alcohol.

✔︎ Use ripe berries. Use the juiciest berries you can find for maximum strawberry flavor and beautiful color.
