    These simple Cheesy Chipotle Roll Ups are great for parties, easy to customize and a fun twist on a traditional pinwheel appetizer. The combo of smoky chipotle flavor with cream cheese, olives and onions create a mouthwatering bite size appetizer that can be made ahead of time. In other words, its a perfect party snack.

    These Cheesy Chipotle Roll Ups will quickly become the app you bring to every party. They are a portable, customizable snack that are served cold and don't require a dipping sauce. Just fill, chill, slice and serve. They are so good, you won't be able to pop just one.

    Ingredients

    These easy to find ingredients make a flavor-packed tortilla pinwheel appetizer.

    Ingredients needed to make chipotle roll ups.

    Ingredient Notes:

    Cream cheese: Room temperature full fat cream cheese works best for this recipe.

    Sour Cream: Room temperature sour cream will mix in to the cream cheese more easily.

    Lime juice: One half of a medium size lime is the perfect amount of juice for this recipe.

    Green Onions: Thinly slice them so they can evenly mix in the filling.

    Cheese: Finely shredded cheese works best in the recipe. We used cheddar cheese, but a Mexican blend would work great too.

    Chipotle Peppers: You can manage the heat level easily. If you want it spicier, keep the seeds in otherwise scrape the seeds out for a milder heat level.

    Instructions

    Bowl filled with cream cheese, shredded cheese, olives, green onions and chipotle peppers.

    Mix the cream cheese, sour cream and lime juice until smooth and then add the rest of the ingredients and stir to combine.

    Spread a thin layer of the cheese mixture on the tortilla and roll it up tightly.

    Chill them well and slice with a sharp knife into 8 equal pieces and serve!

    ✘ Chop your mix-ins in small, uniform sizes so you can get even distribution throughout the roll up.

    ✘ Chill them well and use a sharp knife to get clean cuts.

    ✘ These roll ups taste best if eaten within a day or two of making them otherwise the tortillas get soggy.

    Ingredients
      

    • 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
    • ½ cup sour cream, room temperature
    • 2 tablespoons lime juice
    • 3 chipotle peppers packed in adobo sauce, diced
    • ½ cup chopped black olives
    • 1 cup finely shredded cheddar cheese
    • 3 green onions, sliced thinly
    • 6 medium flour tortillas

    Instructions
     

    • Mix cream cheese, sour cream and lime juice in a medium bowl until smooth.
      8 ounces cream cheese,, ½ cup sour cream,, 2 tablespoons lime juice
    • Add diced chipotle peppers, olives and cheese to the cream cheese mixture. Stir to combine.
      3 chipotle peppers packed in adobo sauce,, ½ cup chopped black olives, 1 cup finely shredded cheddar cheese, 3 green onions,
    • Spread a layer of the cream cheese mixture on the tortilla and roll up tightly. Repeat with remaining tortillas. Chill in the refrigerator for two hours.
      6 medium flour tortillas
    • Slice each tortilla into 8 slices and serve.
