Holidays party menus are always better when they include this Slow Cooker Reuben Dip.

The crock pot is always your friend when it comes to party planning! This Slow Cooker Reuben Dip is always a hit! #slowcooker #crockpot #dips #appetizersThe holiday season has arrived, and with that comes lots of parties and happy hours. And what’s a party without snacks?

Not a very fun one in my opinion. So to up the fun factor at your next gathering, I made you some Slow Cooker Reuben Dip. Filled with corned beef and Swiss cheese, this dip is definitely a crowd pleaser. It has all of the flavors of a classic Reuben in a gooey, cheesy dip. Pile it on mini rye toasts, and your guests will definitely be back for more. Best thing about it? It takes 10 minutes to put together. Then step back and let the slow cooker do its magic.

While it’s true that there is a lot of fun and merriment involved during the holiday season, but it’s also a time to remember those in need. Do you remember last year when I shared with you about the great dairy tour I went on with the American Dairy Association Mideast?

You know how much we love our dairy products here at Garnish with Lemon, and we’ve been fortunate to work closely with the American Dairy Association Mideast for the last year. We’re doing something special with our fellow dairy-loving friends this month. Did you know today is Giving Tuesday? The ADA Mideast and the Ohio Dairy Farmers are partnering with Feeding America’s Great American Milk Drive (GAMD), which is the first-ever nationwide program to deliver highly desired and nutrient-rich gallons of milk to hungry families who need it most. And while milk is one of the most nutritious items requested by food bank clients, it’s rarely donated.

{Fun fact: check out how much milk has been donated in your state at milklife.com/give.}

Since April, more than 107,000 gallons of milk have been delivered across the country – an impressive feat, but we’ve only scratched the surface of the 46.5 million Americans served by Feeding America annually.

With eight grams of high-quality protein per serving and three of the top nutrients most likely to be missing in the American diet – calcium, vitamin D and potassium – milk is an affordable, efficient way for America’s feeding programs to get nutrients into the hands of people who need it.
