This Pesto Meatball Flatbread recipe comes together just in time for the doorbell to ring thanks to a few high-quality, flavorful ingredients, including Gold’n Plump® Pesto Italian Chicken Meatballs.

You can find these fully cooked chicken meatballs in the freezer section of the grocery store. Because the meatballs are already cooked, only a handful of other ingredients are needed to make these flavorful happy hour snacks come together quickly.
We used naan bread for our flatbread crust, but feel free to swap in individual pizza crusts or even pita bread if that’s what you have on hand. And even though we highly recommend creamy, fresh mozzarella for these tasty nibbles, you can certainly use shredded mozzarella if you prefer.

- 2 naan flatbread crusts
- 1/2 cup fresh pesto, divided
- 8 Gold'n Plump® Pesto Italian Chicken Meatballs - thawed and cut in half
- 10 cherry tomatoes, halved
- 6 - 8 thin slices fresh mozzarella
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Place naan crusts on baking sheet. Spread each crust with 2 tablespoons pesto. Divide meatballs, tomatoes and cheese evenly among crusts. Bake for 11-14 minutes or to desired degree of doneness.
- Evenly dollop remaining pesto on baked flatbreads. Cut into wedges or slices and serve immediately.
